Title: SCO loses in SCO vs. Novell
Post by: kevlarman on August 11, 2007, 02:57:07 am
as some of you may have already heard (http://www.groklaw.net/article.php?story=20070810165237718), sco has (basically) lost their case against novel, and since the judge ruled that novell owns the copyright to unix, they have basically lost against ibm as well. it took forever, but it looks like it's finally over \o/.
(and to the people who will inevitably ask what sco vs novell/sco vs ibm are and why they are significant, please at least skim this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCO_v._Novell),this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCO_v._IBM),and this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCO-Linux_controversies) before posting)

Thanks KMan-

I was wondering when all the BS McBride had been handing out over the years would come to an end.  It's been so long I had lost track of things.
