can someone tell me how to add textures oh and dont give me a giant page of code that i cant understand tell me  :oops:  :P

Please, please, please, at least pretend you even bothered to try to find that answer on your own first. It's not like it's hard to find.

I tied a bit of this, but my textures came up in the list, I clicked on it, but the images were all

"Shader Not Found"s

I was sure I did it right, they were .tga images.

Put your texture jpegs in a newly created directory; tremulous/base/<mymapname>/textures
Load them by selecting <mymapname> in the texture menu

THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT. AND ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS LOOK AT ONE OF THE ORIGINAL .PK3s seriously.

Ah, so thats what I had done wrong, I had saved them as .tgas, not .jpgs, that was all that was wrong, thx Survivor

iirc tga can only directly be used in shader manipulation due to the sometimes necessary alphachannel which jpegs lacks.
