Title: How do I install new maps on Linux (Ubuntu)?
Post by: aberadam on August 19, 2007, 03:56:31 pm
I have the new maps downloaded from various places.  I have the game working and all's well. I just can't get the maps into the game.

Please tell me how it's done in simple terms for fairly computer unliterate person.

It is Linux I'm using so I believe there's things like 'permissions' before I can mess around with root files, I probably need permission to add new maps.  Please tell me how that's done.

Thanks.

The only tremuolus I can find is in file system/usr/games/tremulous and it's a file I can't access "tremulous is an executable file".

I'm stuck.

You should have /home/user/.tremulous too

Sure? It's an invisible folder. If you are working form the terminal, you'll need to use
Code: [Select]
ls -a
