I created a map in GtkRadiant 1.5 then made it a bsp and put it in the base/maps folder and also put it in a roomy folder in maps but when i go ingame and type /sv_pure 0 and /devmap roomy (thats its name for now) it says it cant find the .bsp. Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?
Not a mapper, but I don't know of a "maps" directory. Pretty sure its not a subdirectory of a map pk3 either. Try putting it in base, plain old base :)
the roomy .bsp should be in /maps, not in /maps/roomy

I used to have this probelm, first of all, make sure bsp in
base/maps/
In-game, I dont kjnow why this works, but I get the same error as you, hoever for me if I go
/sv_pure 0
/map arachnid2
wait till its loaded up then type
/devmap roomy
It works!
For me, try it and see if it works for you.
tremulous +set sv_pure 0 +devmap yourmap

and my doors (they seem to have destroyed almost everything (crusher was set Ah Hahaha))

i have the same problem exsept i never found out how to test it oh add textures and it took me a month to find how to make hallways still cant make doors and after 2 months i gave up.

I believe it is spelled with a 'k', "elk". According to
this The plural of "elk" is "elk" or "elks".
