is it possible to make an online non-dedicated server?
-
Any server is "non-dedicated" if it isn't up all the time.
-
um...yeah.

On star wars battle front 2 they have Non-Dedicated servers and it just means that a player is hosting it not a server that you download and run from your desktop.

1. Open Tremulous
2. Click "Play"
3. Click "Create Server"
4. Change "Dedicated" to desired setting
5. I'm out of things to do
6. ....Just checking

I believe the term is a Listen Server.

Yes, it is possible to start listenserver but the old game.qvm is horribly broken and the new one doesn't work in 1.1.0 client. The solution is to start dedicated server, then run the client and connect to 127.0.0.1:30720
