Hallo, Im having trouble making a camera and a screen to project it onto.
Here is what Ive done:
Create and positioned a misc_portal_camera
Create and positioned a misc_portal_surface
Pointed the misc_portal_surface to the misc_portal_camera
Pointed the misc_portal_camera to a target_position
Created a flat brush as a TV screen near the misc_portal_surface.
What else should I do, should I be texturing the screen with anything.
If anyone could opoint me to a guide, that'd be great.
If anyone knows how to creatre these things, please tell me, thanks!

Note that you can only have one camera portal in view at a time - try looking at both screens in the control room of Pulse to see what I mean.

Ooh, didnt see that on Bubbas before, I love that site.
Whoopsies.
EDIT:
After seeing Bubbas, and comparing it against mine, I could not find anything wrong.
However, the one thing that could possinbly be wrong is the screen's texture.
In the Common shader directory, there are 2 options for portal shaders:
portal
qer_portal
which should I use, Ive tried them both though, is there any options I should be compiling with, wuill a simple .bsp suffice?

The problem seems to be the portal shaders in common/ - in a test map I had the same problem, but all worked well when I used the monitor shader from Pulse.

ooh, I looked through the shaders and textures for Pulse, and I didnt have any, however I checked the .shader and yes it does exist.
Can anyone help me track this down?

Add pulse to your shaderlist.txt
