Yet another map from your favorite mapmaker.

Except neither of them ever were finished...

Well, here's smallcross-a1, the place of hell. Aliens can evolve, it isn't too small...

But I need help...My textures keep reseting and every time i hit 's' and sat the boxes to 1 and 1 and hit fit and hit apply and hit done and then in game they are messed up unlike it shows in gtkradiant :( can't figure it out...

It is on ambient light for now so that you guys can actually see...Unlike planetx-a1...

I need to know how to fix the texture problem and how to turn a .bsp into a .pk3

Help appreciated.

The .pk3 directory structure goes like this:

map-yourmapname.pk3/
|_ maps/
| |_ yourmap.bsp
|_ scripts/
| |_ yourmap.shader
| |_ yourmap.particle
| |_ yourmap.arena
|_ textures/
  |_ customtexture1.jpg
  |_ customtexture2.tga
  |_ customtexture3.tga
  |_ etc...

A pk3 is just a normal .zip file the with extension changed to pk3.

If taiyo's explanation is too complicated (which it usually is) then how about you put you .bsp into a .zip archive then get rid of the .zip  in the file name and replace it with .pk3. Or as taiyo's explanation puts it, place your maps, scripts and textures folder into the .zip file and then follow the instructions.

If you do not understand Taiyo's explanation, I suggest you give up on Tremulous mapping.

If you are going to give that kind of response, lava croft, then i suggest you be stripped of your moderator status, if you weren't already!

And did any of you even download the map? Because the textures are my biggest problem.

And please, somebody post a step-by-step guide for me.

shrunken textures might be due to q3map2 not finding the textures, there is a few threads about it already, might be able to find some answers there.
