This is my strategy for Trem when playing as humans.
Be sure you are playing on a server where ther can be at least 20 or more players per teams(makes it work better). Now be a rifle human and stay at your base while turrets are being built for base protection. Aliens are melee attacks so either way they will have to come to you. Stay at your base and shoot every all the aliens you see while some humans stay with you and others are n00bs and rush, but don't worry, n00b rushes are good for this strategy. The aliens will get to be very big to the point they cant climb on the walls any more, at this point your team will have blocked all the paths into your base by turrets. Stay be hind the turrets and blast the aliens.
Doing this will allow you to gain credits extremely fast. In 20 minutes I had over 5000 creds. And of course when you have only 800 creds you can easily go and buy a assault suit and a las gun(which in my opinion is the best combo). And now that you have TONS of creds you can start sharing with your team, and this makes everyone much better. Now its time to wipe out the aliens.(be sure you have at least 800 creds in case you die).
Get anyone who doesnt have any assault armor in the front of a group of 10+ people and start your journey to the alien base. Shoot everything that moves. The reason for having the weaker in the front I would think is obvious, they get killed before the stronger members. Also it might be helpful for 2/3 of the groups members to be flying with a jetpack.
Eventually you will either have killed all the aliens and their base or you will have killed all the HUGE ones and so they no longer posses much of a threat. Thats how I play and so far I havn't lost to it.
Some n00b's tips.
- Don't rush the aliens, you will die and you will help them be better than you.
- Don't grenade your base because its cool, this happened to me once and my team lost due to the noob.
- Don't get trigger happy and go by the motto "If it moves, shoot it" cause if I'm playing with you and you shoot me Im gonna blow your head off.
- Don't try and take out the alien base by yourself, even if you have the best of the best of equipment, you will die.
- If its sudden death and no one has any spawn points and you and your buddy are the only 2 humans v.s. 3/5 aliens, STAY AT YOUR BASE!!! thats right, camp, I don't care if your there for 5 days, don't leave your base let them come to you.
Theres my tips and way of playing, have fun and don't die on me!!![/list]

Strange... I always do completely opposite... Less people - better practise. Fast rush at first - dretches only - easy creds - fast stages. At the end it is hs3 vs as1-2. and a simple lucy rush the base. GameOver.
And I hate working in team with 95% of the players. they just TB you.

That had upwards of a thousand (intentional or not) lies, just like the bible.
And look at how much success that had!

I was actually thinking that that guy was saying that for real... It might work, for campers

i guess either sst player, or a player on one of the big dretchstorm servers which equals strategy not valid on small servers with good players. what a shocker!

So wait, you'd have a battlesuit rifleman at the back and a chaingun/flamer/luci naked human at the front? Are you crazy?

:(
There are many other things wrong with this; in fact, almost everything. Please don't try to make guides unless you know most of the guide is going to actually work and make sense.
Assault suit? Keep playing, learn the terms.

An abomination which should not be taken seriously. Not even on large servers.
