who know what is the command of vertical sync for tremulous?
-
do anyone know? How to enable vertical sync in tremulous???
-
last I looked it was not done in the game(s) rather in the control-application for your gfx-card.
but if you only want to sync your frame-rate to the refresh-rate of your monitor, use 'seta com_maxfps "rate"'

Are you on Linux? What video card do you have?
-
I use windows vista , with Nvidia 8500 GT graphic card, proccesor is intel Celeron D CPU 3.46GHZ . I am getting wall tearing effect while playing tremulous, I setted vertical sync in my graphic card properties but it has no effect on the problem.

Most likely it enabled it for DirectX, and not OpenGL.
-
seems complicated , so how can i turn on the vertical sync for opengl?
-
That question should have been answered over at nvidia.com
-
I asked in nvidia forum but they said it should able to set vsync in game.
"enabling it in the games options should do it. "http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=51225

Yay problem solved!I found the command is /r_swapInterval 1 myself , why no body knows that in this forum!!!
-
Because that is _not_ specific to tremulous and could be found via google?
