Title: Antialiasing/Anisotropic Filtering/etc
Post by: Overdose on November 16, 2007, 03:16:49 am
Hey, I was wondering if Tremulous (or ioq3 in general) supports antialiasing and/or anisotropic filtering? I just want to know if my new graphics cards will make any difference, quality wise. These new Nvidia cards have so many "features," I'm not even sure what a lot of them do.

Yes, this is done in the NVIDIA settings control panel.

Tremulous does support AF as an in-game option but it's better to do that on the control panel.

I'll just start changing things until I find a good balance, thanks.
By the way, whats the command or option name for AF in-game?

r_ext_max_anisotropy (anisotropy level)
r_ext_texture_filter_anisotropic (1/0)
