Title: Tremulous runs with black boxes around it?
Post by: iamthemicrowave on November 20, 2007, 01:24:33 pm
No matter what resolution I play at, Tremulous will not run full screen.  There is black space between the game and the edge of my laptop monitor.  Please help.

Here are my specs:
Dell Latitude D620
Ubuntu linux 7.10
intel core 2 duo @ 2 ghz
2 gb ram
nvivida quadro 110m ( i think...)

Thanks alot!

Try pressing '+' or '=' a few times, it increases your screensize.

Isn't that display wide-screen?

Try running it at a resolution the same as your desktop if none of these suggestions have worked.
To do that, find out your desktop resolution (1024x786 for example is HEIGHTxWIDTH) open console with the ~ key and type in these commands:

/set r_customheight 1024 (replace 1024 with your height)
/set r_customwidth 786 (replace 786 with your width)
/set r_mode -1

I run Ubuntu and freshly installed Trem less than a month ago and I had the same problem.
