U see i was wondering what was better and what people go because many people in my school has asked e this question so i dicided that i would poll it....
thx for voting

i didnt know where i should vote ! both are the same or i play both ! thought i like aliens ! but if its is s3 and we are heavy attacked , i like humans ! why ? you just wait for tyrants or other aliens in the base and shoot them ! they will run out of evos , ofcourse if someone wouldnt run away from base ! then you and others will have enought credits to battle suits and good gun ! then you and the team just rushes and enjoy the bloody alien splashes ! :battlesuit: MUHAHAHAHAHA :battlesuit:!

i always choose the weaker team if i can, so i can compete with the bestst of the enemy.
no wonder i became a feeder :-)
otherwise a huge part of the game is about predicting what the enemy is going to do. like moving, dodging, building, running, hiding, aiming.
so playing a team should make you stronger with the other team also.

I personally think humans are better in the hands of a great player. Shotties having the ability to solo goons at S1, goons being the 'strongest' alien in S1 and S2 matters a lot. However, You shouldn't play to win, just to have fun and become a great player :P

indeed, humans can be supwerior in the hands of a good player.
But a good alien is a pain in the ass, no, really.
-
I think that perhaps the human team is stronger if they play intelligently and work together.
However, that's not the sort of thing you see often at all.
It also seems to me that a lone alien can generally do more damage than a lone human if played properly.
Personally, I prefer to play as an alien. Their building is more flexible and more fluid, their movement is more interesting, and I find them much more interesting to play as. The human team has a standard FPS sort of thing going on, and while there's nothing wrong with that, I get tired of it sometimes.

so y don't u vote... it won't harm u....

I have always prefered humans (as dretches are really annoying turrets are useful).
But in the end I dont really mind what team I'm on.
Real problem is as previously stated humans need to work together, which rarely happens under normal surcumstances. Second problem being no RC = no Extra Ammo = no Medi = no Jet Pack.
Alien buildings are annoying though as they require use of eggs to lay buildings (spawn away from base). Neither team is really better is mostly the skill level and teamwork.

What i don't understand from the poll is that you ask which one is better and then you give as an option: U don't care////U play both.
Are you assuming that everyone plays with the race he/she thinks is better?
-
well i asked if you think aliens are better or humans are better but if u think u don't cre about the vote or u play both (u don't mind what race u play on) then tick them at the place of the alien/human.... thought i prefer aliens myself cause there have no ammo regenarating health and there got powerfull atks :dretch: :basilisk: :marauder: :advmarauder: :dragoon: :advdragoon: :tyrant:

The tiers are unbalanced. Early in the game, humans rip aliens to pieces. Much of the game is decided when the aliens desperately try to get their first dragoon. Humans usually win if they get helmets (allowing much safer offense) first and attack the alien base. Aliens usually win if they get dragoons, in which case it's only a matter of time until they grind up to tyrants and then win by attrition.
The early game (the most important part) is generally pro-human, and the middle game and end game favor the aliens, and it more or less evens out. The problem is, it's more or less possible to see where a game is heading in 5 minutes, and from there you can quit or keep playing just as a sign of sportsmanship and good will.

My, somewhat limited (3 months or so) experience tells me - you never know. There have been quite a few times when playing as human everything looked lost, rants were everywhere and a few people started going "gg" and a couple left etc.
Perhaps it was just the feeders that left leaving the die hards to re-group, going on to win in sudden death!
To me the teams seem pretty balanced, it really all depends on who you've got and who they've got.
Feeding either team early on the the game is a mistake, i think, especially if you're human. Hummies on the other-hand getting helarmed, pulse and batt pack against goons and dretches is a dream. Ive had 50+ kills using that combo and decided not to go for a battlesuit, simply because the battpack gives you that extra "ooomph" you need to go gooning.

I play as both. assuming that I haven't lost the majority of my skills in the couple month down time i had (waits for playerone's hug when he realizes i'm back) i'm an above average player for both teams. not the best, but I could probably have a reasonable chance of getting in any but the super pro clans (the old killaz, etc)

hmmm i guess every clan has it's superpros and medskills... just like chicago bulls had the few stars and many Unnamed Players just to fill the space :-)

To the people who complain about balance,
Try playing with a different number of people, because balance is NOT the same. There are graphs out there of this.
The teams are just so different that it's hard to tell really. Most games come down to play skill and teamwork.
You can have a team of average players, and through teamwork, defeat the team of one insane player + noobs.
An example of this was one match on atcs the other day, s3 aliens vs s2 humans. The alien downfall was their bad builder making a base inside the box outside, and not coordinating their attacks. I snuck out of the base with a rifle, killed some dretchs, shot 2 acid tubes, died, bought prifle + nade, went back and killed both there eggs, while my teammates distracted the tyrants in the hallway. Shortly after that, we won!
