If you double-tab the wall as a dretch (with wall-crawl on) you can perform a mara-like jump. this is good because you can sneak in a headbite, and as you're flying off the walls even the best marksman can't shoot you.
Ps, if you're there, caveman, as you inevitably are, don't flame me.

even the best marksman can't shoot you.
not true ^^. Take this from me, there are people capable of still hitting you :'(

I'm not sure which maneuver you're refering to. Double tap what, the wallwalk toggle?

After a while, you will learn that there are human players out there who are accurate enough that if you do not use SOME element of surprise, however crude it becomes, to get closer to the enemy, you will die as a dretch in a 1 on 1 encounter. And even if you DO surprise that lone rifle, the best will STILL give you trouble 99% of the time. Also, flying off the walls? You make it sound like being in the air is a good thing. Wrong. While in the open air, you're much easier to hit or predict, and that goes for any weapon, tracehit or not. As a dretch under fire, jumps are best used to go short distances, like from the bottom of a wall to a more central area on the ground. However, one interesting long distance maneuver is to jump off the wall and at the same time flick your mouse in the direction away from the wall, and you can, for example in the halls of ATCS, get all the way to the other wall and also be at a higher elevation. It's not necessarily a dodging technique, but I've had a few times where it has come in handy. Strafe jumping with a twist. :P
Come back with a lot more experience and maybe you'll have posts that sound reasonable to those you're trying to set examples of. "Best marksman." You obviously haven't seen enough.
P.S. Physuedo? You butchered the word. Pseudo is the correct spelling.

Dracone is right.
There is no point in using old strategies on servers that run unlagged.

Airborne Dretches are the easiest to hit, since they have practically no air control. It's rather easy to determine their 'flight' path.

well, if you are changing walls on corridors(as you should), and you cut down the path on floor with short double jumps (what is shortened by the wall itself), there is a good chance to get to the enemy and bite his head off with this "mara-like" walljump. needs some practice ofc.
this can be very okay combined with the wall-to wall jumps that Dracone has described.
without jumping from/to walls, your dretch is doomed against decent players.
btw n frags vs n frags at dretch vs rifle is good for the dretch.
riflers should do like 2n frags when training 1vs1.
