I know this has been asked a lot but this is diffrent
I searched for this and found this cmd
+set net_port (whatever)
But that only changes the local port (UPD)
Is there one that changes the internet port?
-
What internet port?
-
The port a server uses!
-
Uhm...
We don't get you.
You already have the command that will change the server's listening port.
There is no way for a client to demand a specific port from a server.
-
Oh sry i didnt put enough information
I own a crapy home server and i want to set a permanent internet port
I tried net_port but it only set my local (udp) port
Is there one that changes the internet one?
-
I still dont get what you want.
The "internet port" is set with net_port.
But if you have the server behind some router you need to set the routes accordingly, too.
-
omg i completely forgot about my router!
I still dont understand how the net port is only changing my local udp port tho
edit: Nvm it doesn't have anything to do with the router.
The net_port just changes the the udp for some strange reason.

UDP is all that is needed .)
And what you consider "local port" is the "internet port" on any machine that is not behind a router .)

cool thx i didnt know it worked like that
