Okay, I'm working on a model for a sniper rifle in replacement of the mass driver. I've got a few problems in testing it.
One: I can't see it on unpure servers. I popped into SST to check it out, but I see the mass driver instead. It's placed in:
-Base
-nameless.pk3
-models
-weapons
-mdriver
Two: I can't see texture. I've got the texture in the same folder as the mdriver.md3, but when I f*cked around with data-1.1.0.pk3 (put the model directly in there for devmapping, along with the texture) I had an untextured model.

If you make a mod it only works on unpure or your own servers.
Never modify the data-1.1.0.pk3 it can have disastrous consequences. Make sure the texture is named correctly and is in .jpg or .tga format.

I made sure to back up data-1.1.0, don't worry.
Last I checked, SST is unpure. The model didn't work on my local devmap, either.

Editing the jpg works fine for me.

I'm not having problem editing textures, I'm having a problem getting a different model with it's own texture to show up.
