Hello,
scroll down.

The *.cfg files need to go into /base/. (Either ~/.tremulous/base or $trem_dir$/base)
-
Oh right, thanks ;D
-
Now I have another problem, at the end of a level the score board doesn't show up but instead everything freezes for everyone until the next level starts. Any ideas?
-
Which QVM are you using?
-
The tjw one. Though I haven't experienced this problem in a while now, maybe it's gone.
-
Wow I might as well give this video again.

Follow that and it should work.

Oh well I'm using Takitu7's QVM now (cause I wanted more admin commands and stuff), I think the score board problem might occur because my server computer is so crappy, though now I have a new question:
I have set the build points to 250 by set g_humanBuildPoints 250 and same with alien, in both the server.cfg file and for every map in the map rotation file, but it still wants to go back to 100 or something. I've looked in all files and can't find any line that sets the bp back to 100.
-
The cfg file you edited is for starting the server and default settings. Check maprotation.cfg for per-map settings (such as BP)
-
Yes, I have already put the bp to 250 for every map in that file. In fact, I used an example file from tjw that had the bp set out already and just changed the values to 250.

I have exactly same problem, using
qvm_version P-G-QVM v1.6.1 (Jun 22 2008 13:56:32)
So, were you successful in solving this problem?...
-
Its generally considered good manners to take downstream bugs to the upstream.
You wouldn't go to ID with a bug in tremulous, so don't come here with a bug in pgqvm.

Uuuuhm... I'm not really sure it is a bug. I suspect it's a problem of configuration. (And lack of documentation, maybe...)
E.g. I'm, sort of, sure what I want, but I'm not sure that I'm changing the right thing.

Thanks. Somehow "set ..." in maprotation doesn't work, but "exec ..." does.
Also, g_mapConfigs should be mentioned here, although I didn't find it by those links.

g_mapConfigs is p-q-qvm specific if I am not mistaken.

you are.

I did not invent g_mapConfigs.
They are quite old. I dont know how old, but sst has been using them since not long after it was started.
