I am not familiar with GTK radiant at all. Although I do realize that for certain things (such as triggers and buildables), it is inevitable to pass by GTK, I was wondering if it was possible to use other programs for modeling and texturing (such as Blender or 3Ds Max)?
Thanks

It is possible to import models in MD3 and ase formats to use as map geometry. However in order to create decent maps you must learn radiant. It really isn't that hard - try Bubba's tutorials: http://bubba.planetquake.gamespy.com/mapping.html
