Post by: X-20 on December 23, 2007, 12:06:26 am
While i was testing my new map sidewinder with my friend... evrething went well but than when my other friend connected he got instantly disconnected - heres the error he sed he had

The map loaded up all the way than it kinda just froze for 2 seconds than he got a error message saying
CL_badinlinemodel: (number here)

How to fix this? thanks.

yeah, i was the one testing it... i fixed the error before, by removing .ase models, but there are no .ase models in the map....... would .md3 model spam cause this?

If you "spammed" the models you probably shouldn't be using them anyway.

lol, yeah, i think the issue has been resolved, the problem is the .pk3 must be renamed if it is changed.....

Sidewinder wouldn't happen to be a winter level with tunnels in a horse shoe canyon with a Halo skybox, would it?

First - why does it matter?
Second - its J shaped not horseshoe
Third - its not a winter level
Final - halo skybox?

nono, u r ALLL wrong....

example:
I made a map called "CargoPort-101"
someone joined to test it, and after they left, i did some work and uploaded it again without renaming it.

then when the same person tried to download it and play it again, it didnt overwrite the old one in their base thus they get the error "Bad inline model."

so, after each test, be sure to rename it...
