Title: setdevicegammaramp failed....uhhh help?

hey can someone plz help me out? whenever i try adjusting the brightness that comes up. i tried /r_ignorehwgamma 1 and it said gamma will be ignored once i hav reset or somethin but it still wont let me change the brightness. neone help plz?
