slime pit: Some of the aliens may (in a certain stage) excrete slime, that does not hurt humans, but makes them slide. Also, the slime dries up after a few minutes and of course it takes some time after the alien is able to excrete slime again. Slime can only be excreted during touching the ground, not while wallwalking, not while jumping.
pole: New buildable for humans. It is just a kind of stick standing around, hindering alien movement, but (usually) allow firing through it. They should have a quite big health (a titanium steel pole should not be too easy to destroy, otherwise it is useless) and should not cost too much, let's say, 3 or 4 building points.

What is the intended purpose of the slime? To allow aliens to build Slip 'n Slides for rapid escapes (especially for tyrants?), or is it something else?
It also seems like if you had a few idiots/n00bs, they could build Slip 'n Slides that would even hinder the team.
The human barricade sounds kind of like the alien barricade, except not almost useless.

uhm... Kozak, you might want to read the suggestion again.
He suggested the HUMANS slip, not the aliens.
Depending on the implementation, this would be a bad idea :)
Just think about ATCS... with 4 of those spiters you could effectively secure the alien base in the standard location. The same for other maps.

Obstacle? Poles?
It would be cool if it costed little or no bp, but took ages to build, and wouldnt even take any hp until fully built (in other words until its fully built its useless.)

We dont always have to cater for idiots you know. Sucks to them, they have to learn.

Im sorry? Wet floor and Tank Barriers?
Slime may be interesting. (But you know you can put it in maps when you make it) "Damn trappers couldnt stop to avoid 'em." Barriers would just be annoying though reducing line of sight etc.
