K lets do it.
Sup btw, been a minute.
Name some of the best clans so we can set it up and get multiple scrims going. In the end the surviving clan will be given the title of "The Supremacy Clan" out of all other clans.
Nothing else has been thought up yet, NO time, NO place, ONLY rules. More info will come soon.
- Scrim Refs: If you're interested in being a ref for this tournament then PM me. (You MUST have Tremulous TJW or R1A admin experience and be available for clan matches)You cannot be in a clan to be a ref.
- Match Reporters: If you're interested in being a reporter for this tournament then PM me. (MUST be present at matches and able to record demo's and capture screenshots)

Player & Team Rules:
1] No unscheduled scrimming of any sort on any server.
2] Scrim matches must be played on the official scrim server.
3] Both teams must have substitute players present on the scrim server during the matches.
Server Rules:
1] Public chat will be disabled leaving only the scrimmers to talk.
2] 100 buildpoint server.
3] Both teams will be locked upon starting the match.
4] Any observers who are disruptive may be removed from the server without warning.
5] Any players who are disruptive may be removed from the server and replaced by a substitute.
6] Any players who ping 130+ will be kicked from the server without warning.
Consequences:
1] Scrim match will be re-scheduled if a player is missing and there is no substiute is available.
1a] If the team is once again missing a player during a re-scheduled match with no substitute, they will forefit the match.
2] Team will forefit the match if ANY player is using any unfair advantages to the other team. (Glitches, hacking, etc..)
3] Failure to cooperate with a tournament ref will result in immediate disqualification. (Player disqualification or team disqualification)
4] If any rules are broken, it may lead to your teams disqualification.

Depending on how everyone pings to the scrim server we'll allow euro clans to scrim american clans on the server. Until then, euros will scrim euro clans on the scrim server so both teams will practically have the same amount of ping.

how many players per team? will it be single elimination? double elimination? round robin? what map(s)? ff? unlagged? how will draws be decided(i.e. both teams win as aliens)? how do you define a glitch (is building somewhere where the model doesn't line up with the bbox grounds for disqualification? there are places where it's unavoidable)

Either do it like Liberviso and come up with a server in every country that participates or get your shit and shove it.
You can not declare a Clan THE supreme one, when you exclude at least half the world.

To begin with, this idea sounds good. However, Europe -vs- American Is not a good idea.
mk. You're declaring one clan the best. Whoooh. Unless this is some kind of joke, you must realize that CU, AA and NULL are the only exceptions to the rule: "All clans die in several months". Not a very strict rule, admitably. Unless you're planning on holding this every several of months, it's goal fails.
mk. cavmaan make gud pont. </caveman-speak> I agree with Caveman (Shudders: "Don't Neg Me, PLEASE") You cannot feasibly do Euro clans against American clans without having a server in some island in the middle of the ocean.

I'm a euro player in an American only clan (it doesn't matter why ;)) and i ping +/- 150, which is playable.
My connection might be one of the faster ones availlable but the americanvseurope thing is plausible.

Euro clans can scrim Euro clans for a Euro title.
American clans can scrim American clans for an American title.
In the end its both the clans decisions to scrim for Superemacy title or not.
I'm going to talk to some Euro and American server operators and see if we can have a server for both Euro and American matches for fair play and ping.

After we have all clans who are willing sign up, we will begin placing them in matches with their preferred players (i.e. 3v3 clans 3v3 each other etc..) Basically, after the preliminary round there will be 8 clans standing. Before the match, both clans have the option of choosing the match stipulations. BOTH clans must agree to the stipulations. If a decision is not made on the stipulations within five minutes with all players present, then the match will begin as a Elimination match by default. In order to be a top clan, you must be good with BOTH races; so therefor, both teams wining with the same race doesn't matter. If both teams win with the same race then they will use their respective teams in the next round. (example: if TEAM-A is human in the 2nd round and loses but wins with aliens in the 1st round, and TEAM-B is aliens in the 2nd round and wins then TEAM-A will be alien and TEAM-B will be human in the last round)

- Elimination Round Stipulations: Once a clan has defeated the other they are declared winner for that round no matter the circumstance unless otherwise is stated by the referee. Both clans must agree to the match stipulations before starting.
- Best 2/3 or 3/4 Round Stipulations: Clans may battle up to four rounds to declare a winner. Both clans must agree to the match stipulations before starting.
- Team freeze Stipulations: (Optional)[/b] Clans may choose to be humans or aliens the entire match. Both clans must choose race and agree to the match stipulations before starting. (This is optional and must be decided with the Eliminator or 2/3, 3/4 stipulations)

Preliminary Rounds
Elimination Stipulations ONLY
All clans who signed up will participate in a clan match with another clan who has also signed up. This round will continue until all clans have been eliminated except for 8.
Tournament Group 1 (3 rounds)
Elimination Stipulations or Best 2/3, 3/4 Stipulations
- Group One will consist of four clans with three rounds of battles. Two clans will fight in the first round and then the other two in the second round. Once all four clans have fought, the remaining two will battle and one will be declared winner in the third round.
Tournament Group 2 (3 rounds)
Elimination Stipulations or Best 2/3, 3/4 Stipulations
- Group Two will consist of four clans with three rounds of battles. Two clans will fight in the first round and then the other two in the second round. Once all four clans have fought, the remaining two will battle and one will be declared winner in the third round.
Final Round (best 2/3, 3/4 rounds)
Best 2/3, 3/4 Stipulations ONLY
- Winning clans from groups one and two will clash together in the final round to win their respective titles.
Server so far:
Sudden Death for preliminary rounds: 35 minutes. Timelimit: 45 minutes.
Sudden Death for clan match rounds: 45 minutes. Timelimit 55 minutes.
Sudden Death for final round: No SD. Timelimit: 60 minutes.
Sudden Death for final tie-breaker round: 25 minutes. Timelimit: 30 minutes.
Build points during all rounds: 100
