Title: My name can't contain black letters

For some reason the game changes alll black letters in my name, to white letters. I can use black letters when I chat but not in my name. This is very frustrating as black is my favorite color (or lack of color if you want to get technical). Any help would be nice. I've got Tremulous 1.1.0 running on WIN XP Pro.

This is in part because the console background is solid black. This means that 'black' names would become invisible on the console, and in many of the menus to attempt things like kicking abusive/griefing players.
