Well, I have a .3ds and a .tga.
Im using Wings3D, and I can get it to display the textured model in Wings, but when I mis_model it in Radient, I always get ther "Shader Not Found" texture.
I place the .tga and .3ds in the same directory of base/Models/mycreations.
The .tga is 256x256.
Any ideas?

Try converting it to md3 and properly link the skin to the md3 model.
-
Good info, sadly already knew that, but what I didnt know was how?
I know that there is a .md3 plugin for Wings3D somewhere, but that is only by a few words and the Wings site seems to have nothing on it.
Ive tried passing it through Gmax, but Im shit with that thing.
So, any expansion?

You could try and see if you can get it imported into Blender. Here (http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=7092.0) is the thread that might be what you are looking for.

Doesn't matter, Blender is the same on Mac, Linux and Windows. (Well, similar enough that directions for one will work for another)
-
so the texture will stay with it then?

Okay, I have successfully converted this to a .md3, but now how do I properly link the skin to the model?

Read the manual provided with the application you are using? Use Google?
-
Ive read the manual for Wings3ds, but as it does not support md3 exporting, this was of no help.
The Blender guide did not mention md3ing.
The Googling came to naught as well, no help there.
So can you help?
Will you help?
