Title: ret chaingun?

Let`s get down to business: I have recently adknowledged the fact that there are many people running around with turret guns. there is no gun appearing on the player`s model, just air! the damage varies strangely, with most doing over 150 dps. is this a glitch or a mod? either way, how do you get/use it?  your help is greatly appreciated

Its called admin abuse :P

Did you se a message like layout edit pop up? if so its just a simple thing admins can do.
The weapons the mgturret - can only get when layout edits on (admin command), Highly overpowered.

Yeah, I see this in occasional layout games. /buy mgturret.

You can also use /buy with the alien class names, e.g. /buy level1 for a dretch, etc. You keep your human model and health but have the alien attacks.

yea, rofl, you can take a rant down in a few seconds... for me, the rets cause lag and i notice myself running away with 30 hp.... lol

That's just messed up. I would avoid servers like those as if they were a bullet to my head. Then again, when I play games, I try to play games some professionally and given a balanced game, use everything I know about how the game works (minus cheating exploits like Halo host lagging) to win. I do admit that is is fun to mess around with settings and cheats like that, but only on my own local server with just me playing or me and a friend.

yes, you use /buy mgturret

you can also get all the alien attacks and tesla generator attack

you can also buy mgturret on @hunt qvm when !crazy is 10 or more and on  benmechine mod, both are pritty fun  :D

Benmachine actually balanced out the ret, though...so it's not a 2 second-death.  ;D

if  you are hosting a modded server you should say so in the loading message
