Title: P-g-qvm 1.5 released!
Post by: Paradox on February 25, 2008, 12:20:59 am
Well, development of this version has taken longer than that of the previous versions, but it has been for a good cause. This version comes with quite a few new features, unique to this qvm.

Updates:
2/25/08: Fixed a small bug with !denyweapon, see changelog.

Changelog

Unfortunately, hovel ports did not make it to this release, but they should be in here soon.

Spec a spec? That's gonna be interesting. Everyone speccing one person, or a tunnel of spec (1 specs 2 who specs 3 who specs 4 who specs 1)

Some nice features, but it would be nice if you could split your modifications into separate patches (one for each feature), so that people (such as I) can use a part of your work in their own builds, because you have some features that could be too abusable.

Amanieu, you can get most of our patches at our bug tracker:

http://code.google.com/p/p-g-qvm/issues/list?can=1

If they have a number by revision, they are in the qvm.

These will need a bit of cleanup, as they are patched against the qvm, however, but noting too difficult.

And spec a spec was actually an old bug in Lak 4x qvm, which players had been requesting. It makes it easy for a spectator to say "hey, come look at this", and other specs can do it.

1.5.0.3 Released
New things since my last update:
Still waiting for hovelports, but there are enough little features to warrant a new minor release.
