Title: unable to load gloom beta map

i downloaded the gloom remake map and extracted it into my trem folder, the base folder that is, and even though its there, it doesn't seem to find it.

also, how can i enable autodownload

Did the file you get end in .pk3 or .zip?  if .zip, just rename it to .pk3 and put in base, no need to actually extract it.  Auto download is in the game options, right below your name.

You missed a good gloom2 game though.  Aliens won!  :D Took down the (lightly guarded) reactor with a flying marauder and told the team to go for the kill.
