Ok so i make a server that is up almost 24/7 and many people play on it. Great now i wont to play on it with my really fast desktop so i don't lag up the server unfortunately i can't find it. So i try to manually add it as favorets but that doesn't work even though i tried both IPs. Now what oh and yes i checked under LAN but on my server computer its under internet. PLEASE HELP
-
/connect <lan IP>
-
ya that doesn't work said bad server address. Both IPs don't work!
-
if you don't understand port forwarding your not getting it on the internet

Please go to the computer your server is on.
If windows: go to start, command prompt, and type "ipconfig"
Get the IP address and write it down.
Go to your computer and type in tremulous console "/connect ipaddress" <-- Not IPaddress the address from ipconfig.
If that fails try to connect with your public IP.
Make sure that everything is right now!
And also can I have the IP of this server, I want to see if I can view server.

the server is up i have people play on it a lot if i tell you its IP no one will play on it . I have already done that ipconfig /all thing and i can not connect to my server through my gaming computer but i can on every other computer :S.

Tell us about your machines and your home network. Wasn't there recently a post by David about trying to connect a client and server on the same router (and that it usually doesn't work)?
Why won't ppl play on ur server if you tell us the IP?
-
Oh, maybe the ports are not open for that machine.
And yes why will no one play on that server if you tell us the IP, I am curious about this?
-
Try /connect LANipaddress:port or use your actual IP(not LAN ip) in the place of LANipaddress.

ok #1 am not telling the name of my server because know one will play on it then
and # 2 i can connect to my server from any computer except my gaming computer that is behind the same router. Should i try connecting to the ip of my gaming computer or type /connect LAN[my ip]

Look I doubt anyone cares about playing on the server anyways, why on earth do you get the ideal of no one playing on your server if you give us the name? Is it a cheating server? Aimbot Server? Stealing GUIDS? or just a known server from what was just listed above? This is the best place to even post your server to get more traffic if you did not know that already.

Implying more than one router?
If so give us a diagram.
