Title: Overlooked slopes on walls
Post by: Higher Game on April 01, 2008, 05:22:39 am
A lot of slopes on the walls that are clearly designed for aesthetic purposes are exploited by humans to "jump" up and avoid the aliens, effectively giving them unlimited jumping. Well, if that was intentional, then they would have been given infinite stamina. As it is now, they can use stamina for sprinting and the walls for jumping, making it far too hard for the average alien to fight back.

Also, many ground slopes such as on atcs are abused to avoid headshots, which might make sense within the engine, but is neither realistic nor balanced. This should be changed. As it is now, dretches can only headshot absolute newbies.

Hey, it's another whining post from Higher Game, in which he tries to mask his own incompetence by blaming it on one of Tremulous' gameplay mechanics. Boy, do I want to lock this!

The slopes help aliens more than humans, dumbass.

Yes, since it's posted on April 1st, it MUST be a joke! Therefore, anyone born on the 25th of December, must be incarnation of Jesus Christ!

Optimus, investigate before you assume. Look at the posts he has made. By your logic, it's always April 1st for Higher Game.

So? Why can't every single day be Christmas?

Both of you could be right... Anyways rather than feeding this topic that Lava managed to wake up after a week of sleep could you just lock it so it won't get into a pointless flame?

Yes, we should not reply to this topic. Only Tycho is allowed to reply to this topic because he is special, the rest of us should let it die before it turns into a flamewar.

Thank you for twisting my post inside-out and doing exactly what I thought would happen even without my post... Good job mate!

1= Tycho doesn't have any option to lock topics. He'd obviously lock it by providing some links to referring an/or useful topics and close it while encouraging the OP to take a tourney trough the forum for useful tips and giving a huge smile and then flaming his ass out of the universe with a grinning smiley that would make the guy as obvious as bright as the sun that he should spend some more time with trem before stating nonsenses. But he isn't an admin, not a mod, and not such a slobbering smartass to do stuffs like this :-D

2= He didn't necro.

3= Lava_Croft ALMOST dodged "HIS OWN"'s rocket.*

*: you're usually much more smarter than this.

Meh.. you should know him by now.

The *so smart beyond our imagination, and is absolutely right when he posts, while dodging anything thrown at him* guy. Lava Croft.

"I've predicted this ! Another stupid lowlife poster will post a lame comment and I'm going to ignore it, and then lock this thread !"

Meh.

That's the typical reply from someone who doesn't have to moderate. They always know it better and would do it better. That's the nature of standing on the sideline while commenting.
