I have gone far enough and found out that my modem which is a SpeadStream 5100 does not have a built-in firewall like most DSL modems. This also means i don't need to make ports in it, which makes things easier since i couldn't get to its Control Panel. I have already made ports in my router for UDP and TCP. All the ports are enabled but every time i run my server it works fine but no one at all can connect. I can only connect myself, when i change the .BAT file to a local net_port. All i need is some help for letting people connect to it, including myself. I will provide any information that is needed for it.

What is the command line you start tremded with, what did you do the the router, and whats your IP.
-
tremded.exe +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg +set net_port 30710
I made ports in my router for the port is says on the console which is 30710 and made ports for 30720 on UDP and TCP
the IP of my server is 208.116.49.110:30710 the IP of my router is 192.168.2.1
My static IP is 192.169.2.136 and i can connect to that but no one else can.
i type in /connect 192.168.2.136 and it works but no one else can connect

It is a known bug for some people. Tremded will attempt to use the port you specified but if not, it resets to 30720.

I'm new so I might be mistaken but isn't the IP address you list for your server really the IP master.tremulous.net? Or am I misunderstanding what you mean?
-
yes it is but i connect using my static IP
-
just letting everyone know this is a home server
-
people need to connect to your external IP not your internal (192.168.x.x) one.
Give them the IP that you get from www.showmyip.com to connect to
-
they connect to that, with the port, ok ty. I got one more question, does RAM have anything to do with running a server?
