Title: can't install

i am unable to install the game. first i tried to download the installer. i downloaded it but when i tried to run the installer it gives me an error that it's damaged or incomplete etc. then i tried zip..i tried to extract the files but it then gives me an error that it's unknown or damaged. can't run it,can't extract it.  :-\

Which Operating System do you use? and what were the exact error messages?
Maybe it helps, if you download the file again.

also is this while your installing it that you get these messages or when you try to start it up. but i agree with jack forward; if the problem continues just redownload it, its only a 15 minute download anyway

Win XP pro, i get errors when i try to start the programs

for ZIP: The file is either unknown format or damaged

for installer: The installer your trying to use is corrupted or damaged
                 This could be the result of a damaged disk,failed download or a virus
                 You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy
                 It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch(not reccomended)

i redownloaded both installer and ZIP but nothing. still those same errors

Maybe you have the handling of .zip files messed up in your config...Go and download winar at

http://www.rarlabs.com/rar/wrar371.exe

Install that, and make sure you let it handle zip files, then redownload the .zip and open it with winrar, should work.

all  you need is the intaller (http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=tremulous&filename=tremulous-1.1.0-installer.exe&use_mirror=superb-west) dont bother with the zip

well i downloaded the installer too and it said it was corrupt..then i downloaded it again and it was still corrupt

A. You dont have proper rights maybe
B. Your downloads are getting interrupted/paused/stopped
C. You have dial up
D. You have some virus holding it up from opening up

Try downloading again using a download manager like this one http://dfast.sourceforge.net/index.html if that doesn't help then start worrying about virus infection.
