I cant find my C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Tremulous. I installed tremulous and started it. I even joined a server. I searched it on my computer and it didn't pop up that. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find it. I need all this, cause im running a server.
Windows XP is my OS.

If someone who uses that inferior OS chimes in, they'll probably tell you where it's located. Otherwise, you could start the game and scroll back in the console to look at the paths that it loaded, it will be in the list there somewhere. Part of the problem is that I believe the directory you're seeking moved from one released client version to another, so it's partially dependent on which one you're using.
-
it only says it loaded C:\Program Files\Tremulous which only part of two locations i need, and i already know where that is located, and have been to that folder
-
the stock 1.1 client doesn't use a separate fs_homepath.
-
then how to i get it? put the cl_guid in?
-
You can search for something like autogen.cfg
For what its worth mine is located at:
\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Tremulous
(You need to go into Local Settings/Application Data maybe)

Get a TJW Backport (a.k.a guid client)

i did, thank you all, i appreciate the help ;D ;D
-
correct me if i'm wrong...
but isn't it at C:\documents and settings\user\application data\local settings\tremulous?
-
No it is not Foe, either your Tremulous
fs_homepath.
is screwed up from your client or you just got mixed up.
-
Don't listen to Zero.
The 'original' port from TJW uses the folder that FoE describes, the port I use, which comes from
http://www.trem-servers.com, dismisses the stupid 'local settings' folder, and just puts it in 'application data'.

Lava, i have read your posts thought these forums, and you seem to be a either angry or mean person. I don't like you. :D

I'm not the one spreading misinformation.

That wasn't misinformation, that was merely an opinion. I don't want a flame war either, soo, just lock this topic.

An opinion would be to say "I believe it to be X", where as what you did, saying "Your wrong, it is X" is a statement of fact. You were wrong therefore misinformation and probably slander.

What is wrong with you people. I cant even go on these forums anymore because its just annoying to read other people's posts since they ALWAYS have to be negative. The people here act like this game is their life and i am just annoyed by it. I am sick of this. Can someone lock this topic? ffs
