I'd say by far a render. Smooth water and rocks.

but Imo, the image is far too small to tell.

I say photo (not rendered). The grass looks realistic from what i've seen.

I've seen water like that. Usually when it's semi-cloudy (yes, i know the sun is shining)? I think.

How'd you put those rods in? The shadows look like they were taken with the picture itself...

I guess it's not a render. If it's anything, it's a vague, maybe slightly touched up photograph.

photograph i doubt a render would have rocks with shadows or bother to put the chains on the cliffs
