Title: Trouble Connecting

ok...so I can connect to my server by opening up trem and typing '/connect <ip>' but I actually can't connect by typing my domain name...has to be the actual ip number, and I don't see myself on the master server list. any ideas?

What's the domain, and what's the IP.
Do other servers work by domain?
What OS.

Are you starting it with +set dedicated 2 on the command line?  If not it won't ping the master.

Remember, +set dedicated 1 makes it a dedicated server but not on the internet, +set dedicated 2 makes it dedicated and on the internet.

Yup, pretty much what David said. Just clearing it up because there are lots of people who don't know what "ping the master" means...
