Title: I am new (started today) what game modes, weapons, etc. are there?

I have played for about 5 minutes but had to stop due to some technical issues.  Although what weapons are there?  All I see are rifle and blaster and the ability to use the equipment builder thing.  Are there different classes?  I saw that there is a buy menu, but I do not see where your amount of money is located and I don't really understand how it works.

I think I have the basic idea for the most common game type.  The humans have to have telenodes to respawn and they focus on using equipment (I guess like an engineer class) to defeat enemies.  The aliens are more organic fighters and use poison, etc. but I am not sure about how they respawn.

Overall, from my limited impressions, the game seems pretty fun.  Hopefully I can get the quirks worked out and start playing again.

By the way, is there any sites like IGN or gamespot.com that have reviews for this game and other free games like this?  I know they reviewed America's Army.

You buy weapons from the armoury (big green one), and you earn credits by killing things.  Creds are shown bottom right somewhere.  You also get creds for being alive for 2 minutes so builders aren't poor.
Humans don't have classes, just buy a bigger gun and some armour.
Aliens spawn in the eggs, which are like telenodes, but also provide creep so other buildings can be built near them.

Not sure about any sites.

Weapons can be bought at the armoury like said, standard key when near it being q. Credit/evo counter is standard bottom-left of screen

there should be a manual at your tremulous folder what explains some things, e.g. buildings, weapons and classes.

however, there will be an awesome new tutorial ready SOON.

until that, pick some fruits from this forum :-)

You have to sell your primary weapon (rifle) before you can buy a different weapon, also you can't sell the blaster.
