Hello,
I am wondering if this happens only to me:
When I am in the server browser screen and have source set to internet the pings it shows are just wrong.
My own server, to which I normally have a standard icmp response of about 25ms, is always shown with around 500ms, no matter how often I Get New List or Refresh List. Once I join it, the game says the ping is around 30 to 50ms. This 5 to 25ms difference is probably caused by game traffic or just overhead. Other servers show up with a low ping of about 70ms in the browser, but once I join them the game says my ping is around 300ms.
I decided to add my server to the favorites list. Refreshing the favorites list my server always shows up with a correct ping value.
I decided to put all servers to my favorites list. As soon as I did that, suddenly the browser and the game agreed to what ping I really had. Of course only if I have Source: Favorites selected.
How does the server browser determine the pings, if source internet is selected? Could it be that those values are read from the master server? Could it be that it only shows what ping the master has to the particular server??
Or is it just happening to me?

Typically I find that the ping is off. I'll have to try the favorites trick.
The server with best ping for me is TJW and it usually shows 195 - 250 in the browser but I get more like 90 - 120 in the game.
Other servers like AKKA or BeerGarden will show over 300, but when I get in there my ping is actually more reasonable, 100 or so. This would suck for servers with max_ping set, because the numbers are don't reflect the reality as far as I can see.

No one else experiencing this weird behaviour concerning pings in the in-game server browser?

server browser is BROKEN by design, it cant sort on ping for example, there is no bind to go to server browser directly from game, sorting on name = font colors unreadable

yeah for me it sais Every server has a ping of 700.But this has only been happening lately.Laggy responce for master server perhaps.

i also noticed that the scroll wheel does not work in the server browser. That and when you hit the button to sort by ping, it does not go from highest to lowest, or lowest to highest.
