Title: [SOLVED] Patch issue
Post by: Kaleo on June 28, 2008, 01:17:56 am
Ok.

Simple problem. I try to make a patch (cylinder/square cylinder) and, in radiant, it doesnt show up. The brush "dissapears" and no patch shows up. BUT, when I compile the map and open it in Trem, the patches are there.

Now, this sucks, because I enjoy pipe spam as much as the next person, and without my patches showing in Radiant, I can't bend them and such.

My big problem is that I want to do some plant matter in my current map, and without patches, I'm haveing to use a rather ugly and fiddly method (putting the texture on a brush and textureing the rest of it with Nodraw-Nonsolid).

Now, is this problem because of some wayward setting, or is it something much more sinister?

EDIT: Forgot to say that this problem is isolated to Tremulous mapping. UrT, Q3, Q4 etc. are all fine.

Maybe you should stop filtering out patches from your view. In other words, somewhere in the menus, click 'Reset Filters'.

Oh...

I see what I did there.

Thanks Lava.
