Title: Snb's stupidwar
Post by: snb on July 10, 2008, 11:45:06 pm
The SNB districts is a small country located on a small section of haiti (its not as small as monaco though) its is a dictatorship it restricts most information pertaining to the country from getting outside the country exept for recreation purposes that will not jeopordize the country as in giving away info about it or are anti-government activities and such, one of the reasons i cant post, create web content, interact with other people online, etc... they monitor everything. so good luck finding any info about it.

On Topic: Safari when it is useful, although some websites cannot be accessed properly with it. Firefox as a backup, for this reason. Not as pretty, but doesn't do silly things to map files, like Safari does. Mac programmers do not appear to be Quake players, from what I have seen.

No, he's pointing out the fact that your IP address resolves to a Charter Cable point-of-presence in St. Louis, Missouri.

Wouldn't being on a different network/connection/whatever change his IP?
Title: Snb\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Post by: mooseberry on July 12, 2008, 06:27:52 pm
Yes, it would I'm pretty sure. Also I assume the mods have a thing that says other ip's this user has posted from. If so, than snb should have another ip he has done most of his posting from. Or whatever.

All your ip addresses resolve to charter.

And as for the being here for a few months and creating the account here, august 15th 2007 is more than a few months.

Yea, right. Like a country wont let you post on the internets, but they will let you leave the country to the US.

Hey isn't that P1's job?

Nope, it's even funnier when mods crush his silliness.

China. Well actually they let you post, then get your IP (since they have a backdoor into every single chinese website), then get your address from your ISP (all of them are state-owned), then come into your house and arrest you.

You can crack skype encryption. Carnegie mellon or however the fuck you spell it has discovered a way.

And as for "monitoring you everywhere you go", then why do they let you post on the internets.

If they are as secretive as you claim they are, why do they let you talk about it.

Either post a link to something revealing its existance, or your just a silly dumb noob.

(http://msn.mess.be/data/thumbnails/67/lonely000.gif) Griefing. More than just a hobby. It's a lifestyle choice.

Now you can't be sure he is griefing.
Not all goverments are smart about being secretive.
But then again, it's probably bull, but I want to believe it since conspiracy theories, since the thought of SNB sending a wake up call when he's out of his country was kinda cool. ^^

Why are you even bothering with this?
Instead of trying to 'unmask' him by pointing at mistakes he allready made, make him explain.

I mean, you're the ones with troll attitudes, even if he's lying.
AFAIK, lying aint the same as trolling.

Edit: Wikipedia does not mention SNB?
HAhahahhaha, well, he's lying then!

I based my metric on Google's lack of knowledge of the subject, over what Wikipedia might say.  If Google doesn't know about something, it just plain doesn't exist.

That's not what I'm referring to specifically. Even if what he is saying were totally true, and it might be (and I agree that the whole schtick is somewhat ingenious), the overall tone of the posts from this particular forum member (the lack of spelling, grammar, capitalization, punctuation, civility, etc.) shows such a disrespect for the reading habits of those used to communicating in English, that the entirety of the persona must be seen as a sort of meta-grief; say like the Evil Lord Yarou, or Smokey's attitude toward any other clan in existence. It's as much of a put-on as Alice Cooper or Gene Simmons onstage. Or maybe he's like Ozzy, and that's just how he is. It's still forum griefing, dude. And it would have to be much, much funnier to be seen as otherwise.

Why are you even bothering with this?
Instead of trying to 'unmask' him by pointing at mistakes he allready made, make him explain.

I personally am enjoying the entire schtick, it's just that some of it really isn't funny. I almost see him as the latest successor to f0rqu3, or at least his most brilliant sock to date.

I mean, you're the ones with troll attitudes, even if he's lying.
AFAIK, lying aint the same as trolling.

It's the Internet, lie all you want. Just don't start screaming when other people call you on it. And, no, lying and trolling are two completely different things. The entirety of the persona, as well as the presentation and format of the posts, makes up the gestalt of the grief. You're not very versed in this, it would seem.

Edit: Wikipedia does not mention SNB?
HAhahahhaha, well, he's lying then!

Arbiter of all that is or can be known, to be sure. ;)

Cheers!

brought to you by a person who can recognize this sort of thing

nao if it wuz funny...

geez, mega-response... tl;dr

P.P.S. I must edit this just to say that if you don't see the inherent irony in my post (the one you were replying to), then I fear my brand of sarcasm may not be reaching across the actual and cultural distance which separates us. To your health, sir. I must be off. Re-edited, because my first edit missed a few mistakes. Ciao!
