Title: \callvote layout

Hi all....i hope i'm posting in the right place!
It's possible to call a layout and also a special cfg cvar-setting for the map in the same time?
If i call a map or load it with !map, if there is a base/mapconfigs/nameofmap.cfg i can do, but i don't know if is possible also call/load a layout and get particulary server-setting from a specific nameoflayout.cfg.

Ok, so first I want to know if you want to make your OWN server for this or are you asking how to do this in any OTHER server?

I'm the owner of ITA prolinux server, the question coming becouse players asked me how they can callvote layout with special setting that for a moment only admin with high level can do with some special command in admin.dat.

P-g-qvm has callvote layout.

I cant remember the issue number.

I know your mod Paradox, i'm using it in my server, but what i mean is if i can load a layout.cfg with the layout itself in the same way as i can load a namemap.cfg with a \callvote namemap or !map namemap command putting the relative file in base/mapconfigs directory.

There is no functionality to to this, but it would be trivial to add.

Acutally david, i think p-g-qvm supports that too. I think it is the syntax of /callvote map layout.

But re-reading his post, i got another impression of what he meant. He meant a way to make a layout load by default, or even specify a new default layout.
I have added a new issue to the p-g-qvm issue tracker, for a new cvar g_defaultLayout added to the mapconfigs for each map. Lets you change the default layout of a map.

This might not be possible, however, i am not sure.

I got the impression that he wanted it to automatically run a config depending on the layout, regardless of how that layout was launched, or it it was randomly chosen.  So exactly what he wrote in his post.
That's what my last post was referring too.

Ohhh.... thanks again Paradox for your post, but maybe my poor english it's not so clear!!!! :(
I try again to explain the question, i mean if it's possible to make a layoutconfigs for each layout as there are mapconfigs for each map.
So when i do /callvote map layout i can load new server setting from a ipotetical namelayout.cfg.

Layoutconfigs aren't too hard to do. I've made it hackishly for a mod that I made a bit and have been sitting on for release until I get the time to actually do it. :p

Oh configs for layouts.

That shouldnt be too hard to do.

Ill open an issue.

But in the mean time, google has coded up g_defaultLayout
