When I open trem it cums says cannot open GL subsystem
My friend tellz me it has sumthin to do with my graphics card
My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
Do I need a bigger graphics card? if so tell me or is there another problem?
-
Your graphics card is adequate for Tremulous.
Your problem is that you don't read the stickies before posting.
-
Install the drivers for your graphics card.

Which drivers? i hav the ones 4 adapter and monitor

Oh and since i no jacksht about computers tell me if i need to post any extra info ??? ???

Did you by any chance change your video mode in Trem? I did that once when I was messing with the settings and it turned out that my video card didn't support one or two of the video modes. The only way to fix that is to delete your "autogen.cfg" file, as far as I know.

www.nvidia.com
Search the legacy drivers for your card. Though I have to say, your card is even slower than my GF4 Ti 4200.

Good for almost everybody that Tremulous does not require a very powerful GPU, since it barely utilizes it.
Actually, this is bad for everybody, but it's less bad for people who did not spend money on a good GPU!
-
What we need is for Tremulous to be able to utilize the GPU if it can, but to just act as it currently does if the GPU sucks/is unavailable/etc.

Yes, everybody would like that. Too bad Quake 3 was released when Gfx was STILL a shaky area.
