This morning, i was playing on killaz as a tyrant. The humans had moved into the red room, and were camping their fat asses off. I ran in as a tyrant, and an adv marauder was following me. He zapped the teslas, and they zapped me. As i was running out of the base, i noticed that whenever a door opened, or similar pull on the server, lightning appeared on my hud. Also, whenever i charged, lightning appeared. I could charge near aliens, and the lightning would jump to them. I was the only one who could see it, and it did no damage. Later, when i wall walk, it appears, and when I die, it arcs around the top of the corpse. Here are some pics:

ya know... it would be awesome if adv mara could buff teammates with electricity for base destroying... would rock  :D

Having recorded demos (preferably from the start of the map) is extremely helpful in tracking down bugs like this.

o wait i have a demo of this instance i believe

it was on atcs  i just joined as spectator and i saw a dragoon in the middle and he was pouncing after a jetpacker.. whenever he pounced a bolt of lightning stuck the dragoon and maintained contact for a while... was hillarious.. lets c i can skim trhrough my hundreds of autorecords to find it

I have a partial demo of such a lightning thing going on, It doesn't have when the lightning bug first started so I don't know how useful it will be. If any devs, etc... want to see it, e-mail me as I have no place to host files yet.

I encounter a bug where I shoot pulse as a Mara on an almost daily basis  (DB@ and satgnu, newest tre.exe from tjw repo)

yes rasz ive been having that too...


It appears that when you, as an advanced marauder, can shoot pulse rifle thingies when you use the "zap thingie" while being shot by a pulse gun.

This is how to reproduce the glitch.

Be a tyrant, and run in front of a zapping marauder and a tesla.

i had the same glitch when i was playing as an adv mara, dretch and granger in pulse. it wasn't just tyrants who cause this, anyone that i went near gave off those sparks
