Wouldn't it be cool? A time travel map. Different parts of the map could represents different periods of time.
-
umm...
-
wut?????
-
Why don't you make it.
-
travel back in time, learn making mapz and come back a day ago ;-)
-
Mappers generally have limited time, and a ton of ideas they want to do.
Asking someone to make as specific map will normally never work, unless its a simple map needed for some specific reason.
-
This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMxYEoG5lEQ) came out in 1998; apparently before you were born. Time travel+Quake=howcumunevahheardodat?
-
I give you 2 options.
1. Pay a maps maker for it.
2. Do it by urself.
-
My idea is better everything is giant so you seam mini. and there are jump pads everywhere and the ground is covered with the cushion shadder so you dont loose hp when you fall. Its set in a house btw.
-
Never seen that one before. </sarcasm>

No, its Ionstorm. And I seem to have mixed up Carmack with Romero who has done "Deus Ex". I am so very sorry. At least now I get what Optimus has pointed to ;-)

Kudos for the PS job though.

John Romero has not 'done' Deus Ex. Deus Ex was created by Ion Storm Austin, while Romero and his Daikatana team made up Ion Storm Dallas. Deus Ex is the brainchild of Warren Spector (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Spector) and Harvey Smith (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvey_Smith_(video_game_designer)) and has very little to do Romero's type of games.
On the subject of a time-travel map, you can just pick one of the many random boxmaps presented on this forum, load it in Tremulous, and instantly travel a good 10 years back in time.
[PS] Daikatana released in the year 2000.

In my defence 8-/ this was some time ago. I played so many demos and read so many magazines.. Well, I was wrong. Thanks for pointing it out!
