is this mod going to be more like *cencored* now. Because i'd like that, the previous concept wanting  to make a mod with a similar concept like *cencored*, but forced not using some of it's simple and elegant solutions, because wanting to be different than gloom always bugged me a little.

What I meant was that that this mod having a similar concept like gloom, should not reframe(right word???) from using some ideas or concepts that are good, just because gloom has already used them. Gloom being one of the first games of its kind and everything was original then.

I don't need a gloom port and this mod isn't going to be one.

This mod is gonna be aliens vs humans with basebuilding and different classes. That's the same beginconcept as gloom i think or am I misunderstanding the word concept. And now let it rest.

Well i do play gloom, if that's what you mean. It's still fun, but all things must come to an end. Like a bunch of old c64 games, doom, quake2, terrorquake2, starcraft, counterstrike, Baldur's gate 2,firearms and a whole bunch more all came to an end. So now i'm looking for another good game to play. And this one looks promissing.

I was just having some fun with Who, who seems to misunderstand the point or just likes to bitch.

B.t.w i'm currently playing around with my first q3 map. I'll release it when i'm finished with it, so you all can have a laugh.

and remembered you guys wanted some more maps and thought maby Sul would be willing finish the work in this map by converting it to tremulous. Or maby this is just a dumb idea.

Who isn't that bad. I mean you can always just ignore him. Although god forbid if some insane person made him a moderator. And just because you don't like q3, doesn't mean you can't like this mod. I mean standard quake2 makes me literaly nousious, but it has some good mods.

Oh yeah and if some guy with mapping experience reads this: how the fuck do you remove those clipbrushes once placed in gtkradiant?

Make sure you have clip brushes showing in onw of the menus (I can't remember which now and I can't be arsed starting it up), then select and delete the brush as usual.

There's a much easier way, Timbo..
Just make a brush the same size as the clip brush, and use CSG Subtract!!

The continual feedback from modplayers to moddevelopers, is why a lot of mods are more fun and keep played longer than a lot of profesional developed games. Simply aproach every whine on a constructive manner. Is it a observation of a general problem or just an inexperienced player? Don't dismiss every suggestion just because it looks stupid at first or looks like a lot of work.

And on the topic of stupid suggestions. I noticed the little bit about aliens infesting dead marines and running around with their bodies has been removed. Does that mean you're going to try it?
