I had a couple quick questions about IP addresses.
1. Do I have to have my internet(external) IP static to host a Tremulous server?
2. I have heard that I have to buy a static IP from my ISP. I think I have my internet IP set to static, but I haven't purchased one. Am I going to be charged or something?
3. When I set my internet ip to static, it works fine. After about a week or so, my internet cuts off completely. When I set my Ip back to dynamic, all is well. Then I can set it back to static, and it still works fine. Then about a week later, the problem repeats. What's going on?

1) Not really, but it helps with those who would favorite your server (that is based on its IP, not its name)
2) Yes, you have to pay for a static IP unless it is included with your package. You won't be charged if you treat it as static, it just may not work sometimes.
3) Your ISP is changing your IP address, but your computer isn't keeping up with the updates because you've told it to use a static IP. Therefore when the address changes, your connection stops working until you refresh it by telling it to use a dynamic address again. Then it's okay for a while since it doesn't change daily.
