Title: The reference material thread
Post by: Taiyo.uk on September 10, 2008, 02:41:21 pm
Want to make something in Radiant but have no clue what it looks like? I've found that studying real life examples is a great help, so... Here's the reference material thread!
Post photos or links to photos of places you'd play some real-life Tremulous in if you could!

I'll start with some l33t underground pipespam in London:
http://www.urban75.org/london/camberwell-submarine.html

Photographs taken throughout the construction of a power plant:
http://www.indstate.edu/powerplant/ppcons03.htm

Service areas of Vanier College:
http://www.vaniercollege.qc.ca/facilities/history/hidden.html

Large photo library of the largely derelict KPPC, including steam tunnels and what not:

Not exactly an image, but a website.

www.deviantart.com

Really good if you dont know what to do for that hallway, or you dont know what to do for that room, just search for medieval corridor, or sci fi city, and you'll get loads of great ideas.

And the great thing is, is that as its done by random people, you get loads of different styles.
