On the AKKA server today something a bit strange happened. The map was Nexus 6 on the alien team and eggs were all in the default locations. Soon after I logged in the eggs suddenly became blocked by dead dretches and nobody could spawn. The dretch bodies seemed to be in exactly the same place on both eggs and the dretch bodies persisted till the end of the game ... which I would consider unusual. Here are some screenshots:

notice the time on the last shot... it lasted long. (Sorry for different image host for 3 of em ... for some reason imageshack wont host them properly)

I would call that a bug. If the player(s) is/are dead, I don't think there is too much he can do ( aside from reconnect ).

I think its a bug as i've seen it on other servers. Doesn't happen often though.

I was gonna submit a bug report, but found it as bug 2717 (https://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2717)

And yeah this 'bug' occurs when someone lags out just as they spawn. In the case of aliens people can actually 'tk' the lagged person so they look dead, in the case of humans shooting the person just curls them up into a ball.
