I guess you are lookin fo some kind of Single player mode. Tremulous does not have that. To install the bots you have to set up your own server. So check the "server" subforum for info.
But i doubt you will like the result. Bots are pretty stupid. You better start playing online and join some nice server :)

Trembot isn't bots, its an old name for the admin system thats now g_admin.

Then what's this (http://patches.mercenariesguild.net/index.php?do=details&task_id=96)?

Something that's encroaching on a name TJW's already used. Whoever wrote it needs an original name.

"TremBot behaves like most players: it spawns, it camps, and it attacks enemy on sight."

It also gets stuck on walls, acts like a total newbie do retarded moves and it can't build anything!
Cool, it does behave like most players! :P

You can find some good bots here (http://xserverx.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1363).
There smart, and follow paths you lay down. They also evolve and buy better weapons. There nothing compared with real humans, but its the best bot out there they I could find/liked.

those bots are better then the other ones yes. but they still suck they follow their path randomally and accurately they dont really dodge they just run for you there's alot of improvements that should/could be made to them.(making paths guidelines instead(or maybe even compiling the map into a data file listing all the areas that can be gone and having rudimentary obstacle avoidance). giving them a "personallity"(attack 75pct, retreat 20 pct, etc) let the bots assign themselves into groups give them a layout to build) i know the qvm restricts alot of this hopefully with tremfusion bots we will get more "natural" non robot looking bots.
