I have not found anything on tis forum even remotely helful on telling newpeople how to code all im asking for is some help why is that so hard?

there's 2 sites with very simple tutorials

c isn't a very hard language once you know the basics

Exactly, first learn general C programming (a lot, dude, a lot).
Then download Tremulous code.
Then come here again with specific questions.

don't need to know that much about C or C++ to be able to code it, you just need to have a lot of experience coding

lol i only read the first chapter in a primer and i've gotten good comments on the qvm i make
once you get experience, it's all pretty much common sense

The Game (http://www.amazon.com/Game-Penetrating-Secret-Society-Artists/dp/0060554738) is coded in a language called "Brainfuck" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainfuck). It is ugly and lets face it: inefficient.

It is easy to learn though, you only need to memorize eight chars ;-P
