I would prefer if it didn't pull the pin or whatever it's called back if there are still rounds left in the gun.

Looks nice though.

I think it has to pull that pin to load the first round into the chamber.

Only providing there is not already a round in the chamber.

For example, if you have a clip of 30 rounds, and you reload when there are 5 rounds left, then there is already a round in the chamber, and pulling the pin is not required.

See CoD4, Crysis or any other modern FPS.

great to see it in movement!
reminds me a little bit to QWET's rifle, only much better!

however, the aiming stuff disturbs me a bit as all of the current trem weapons (maybe exc md) are hip-firing devices.

You should be using the charging handle regardless of whether you have a round chambered or not.  You can bitch about "wasted" rounds after you're still breathing, but of greater importance is that you guarantee there is a fresh round is ready to go.  The whole point of reloading is to get a weapon back into the fight as quickly as possible with no problems.  It is also for this reason that you shouldn't make a fuss about retaining partial magazines in the middle of a combat situation.  Releasing the magazine and letting it drop saves you time and gets your gun back to shooting quicker which helps your chances of survival.  You can always pick those up later.

That and I imagine the 30+1 thing would be low on the Tremdevs' to-do list.  Also, charging handle != bolt pin.

Also-also, Call of Duty sucks testicles.  The gameplay's immensely constrained.

This is the future. The future engineers of this futuristic future-gun decided to add the pin because it looks so damn cool. If the enemy didn't think you were cool, that would give you a severe disadvantage on the battlefield.

TRUFAX.  Coolness makes an excellent force multiplier when used properly. :P

Nitpicking at all there? Have you tried counting bullets with full auto? Better to just pull it back to be sure;) That 1 round doesn't really matter anyway so fast and standardized reload ftw.

The only thing that rifle needs is an add-on silencer. :D

Oh thats the new per pixel renderer for trem. Nothing too fancy yet.

or

Recording a vid from a demo makes your fps drop like crazy.

i saw his other vids too, is all that going to be in trem 1.2? (if so that could make it #1 on mod DB or at least 3rd that stuff is awesome) i haven't been playing trem in a while I've been playing half life mods, but i gotta say i have a new found appreciation for the trem dev team, it took allot to make their mod from what it was originally

Looking very nice! Always good to see this kinda of development :)

So, how finished are these weapons now? The lasgun LOOKS the most finished (and very cool in my opinion) but I don't know what you intend to continue work on. For example the rifle recoil (the two position jitter) looks like a quick job just to serve as a test and will be worked on some more. Also the MD 'projectile' (if it IS a projectile) seems to come from behind the gun and is hard to interpret as a projectile. Finally, the sound seems like it has yet to be updated in places.

Is that all that needs working on? If so, it's great to see things moving along! :D

Looks great.

Keep up the good work.

The camo pattern on the sleeve is also quite interesting.

the lasgun is really cool as it looks like a DIY style weapon from Fallout :-) little bit steampunky <3
