First World Series win in 28 years, and first Philadelphia win in general in any of the 4 main American sports in 25 years. About frickin time. I kinda feel sorry for the Rays though. That would have been the biggest Cinderella story ever if they had won. I don't feel bad enough for them to root against my hometown team of course though. :)

Than again if the Devil Rays had won that would have been insane. They lost over 100 games last year, such a turn-around is remarkable.

It's not the Devil Rays anymore, it's just the Rays. Maybe they were doing so poorly because some divine power didn't like the first part of their name.

And @Kaleo: I know that Baseball is very popular in Japan, certinetly more popular than in Canada, I said Canada because that is where Hendrich is from.
