Post by: T on June 21, 2006, 12:05:04 am
I have Install the linux version of tremulous(stand-alone) but I and getting really choppy sound and game play. My mouse seem like it moves in slow motion. I had upgraded to debian etch from sarge recently. In sarge I didn't have this problem but lighting was and issue. Oh and the specs on my computer can be found here

If you didn't have this problem is Sarge maybe you should roll back ?

Your HP has a

"Video graphics
Integrated graphics with up to 64 MB shared memory for video"

That doesn't tell me much. Who makes the card ... nVidia, ATI, others ? Are you running glx drivers ?

In the "Software titles that shipped with PC" section  this appears

ATI multimedia cent applications (CD/DVD) (nfc)

So -im just guessing- he has a ATI card :)

Ok then, do you have the ATI glx drivers ? If not you might wanna install them. I was hoping it was nVidia then the glx drivers might actually work properly.
